*This is not a program to teach reading.
The skills to develop are the following:
- Motivation to enjoy the interaction with books. For this, a special reading corner was created and we read gathered in a circle.
- Dynamics of reading. We let the children manipulate the books and we are pointing when reading from left to right and from top to bottom.
- Vocabulary We write down objects and name them. As we read, we find new words and decipher them.
- Narrative skills In the circle we tell the story of our day. With costumes and exploration boxes we motivate them to express themselves.
- Knowledge of letters We play with blocks, puzzles and classification games.
- Phonological awareness We acclimate with music. And of course the games and the songs cannot be missing.
